The Big Read-Aloud Contest

The final event of The Big Read-Aloud Contest within the district (Árbær, Grafarholt and Úlfarsársdalur) concluded last week. Two of our students, Eva Arnarsdóttir and Sonja Björt Birkisdóttir, represented the school at the final event and performed excellently. Rakel Björnsdóttir was the alternate.

Eva Arnarsdóttir won first place, and the school is understandably proud of her achievement and having a student reach the podium. Sincere thanks to the teaching team, especially Aldís Þorvaldsdóttir, for expertly managing all preparation and development of this major project with the 7th grade.
